01 / The problem

Fragmented markets, made legible

The event is easy to miss when the market is everywhere.

01

Markets move across venues.

Price, funding and liquidity conditions do not change in one place. The useful context often exists between systems.

02

Raw feeds create more noise.

More tabs and alerts do not produce more clarity. Relevant events need consistent thresholds, labels and timing.

03

Umbra reveals the difference.

One normalized signal layer for people and products that need to understand what changed—and where.

02 / Product architecture

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Umbra

Umbra is a real-time market-data platform for crypto and tokenized finance. We monitor 12 centralized exchanges and DEX across 4 chains — covering crypto plus 1,000+ tokenized stock, metal and index instruments — and surface price dislocations, funding spreads and price spikes as they happen. Monitoring and data only: we never execute trades.

Umbra monitors Binance, Bybit, MEXC, Gate.io, BingX, Bitget, OKX, HTX, KuCoin, Phemex, Aster, Hyperliquid, and decentralized exchanges on Ethereum, BSC, Base and Solana — spot and futures, crypto plus tokenized stock listings where venues offer them.

No. Umbra is read-only: we monitor publicly available market data (orderbooks, trades, prices) and send you notifications. We never access your exchange accounts, hold funds, or execute trades.

Alerts are delivered in real time through an architecture designed for minimal latency, with no polling and no delays. Actual delivery times vary based on network conditions. You can also receive alerts on Telegram for mobile notifications.

A spread alert notifies you when there is a significant price difference for the same asset between two venues. Illustrative example: if an asset trades at different prices on two exchanges at the same moment, the Spread monitor detects the gap and alerts you instantly. Actual spreads vary widely with market conditions and are not a performance promise.

Yes — a machine-tier data API (REST + WebSocket) exposing exchange metadata, prices, funding rates, splash and spread events live. It is currently in early access; join the waitlist on the Developers page.
