# Umbra — platform overview

What Umbra is, its two products, the three event families, venue coverage and the machine-access tiers. Monitoring and data only — no order execution.

Umbra is a market-event intelligence platform for crypto and tokenized finance.
It turns fragmented venue observations into curated spread, funding and
price-movement events for people, products and machines.

**Umbra provides monitoring and data only. It does not hold funds, connect to
exchange accounts, or execute orders.** Nothing it publishes is investment
advice or a promise of returns.

## Two products

- **Umbra Workspace** (https://umbrafeed.com/en/products) — visual monitoring, comparison
charts, saved layouts, configurable filters and alerts. Free, Trader
($19/month) and Pro ($29/month) plans. Telegram delivery is included from
Trader, with priority delivery on Pro.
- **Umbrafeed** (https://umbrafeed.com/en/umbrafeed) — machine-readable market data and
curated events over REST, MCP, authenticated WebSocket and signed webhooks.
  Free ($0), Builder ($19/month) and Pro ($49/month) self-serve plans;
Commercial and x402 are available on demand.

## Event families

- **Spread** — cross-venue price-dislocation events with route, market type,
  lifecycle and execution-quality context.
- **Funding** — raw cross-venue funding-rate differences with settlement and
venue-side context. Interval normalization ranks them; it is not the event
  headline.
- **Splash** — fast price-movement events with direction, venue and measured
  time window.

## Coverage

- CEX venues: Binance, Aster, BingX, Gate, OKX, Bitget, Hyperliquid, HTX,
  KuCoin, Bybit, Phemex and MEXC.
- DEX monitoring: Ethereum, BSC, Base and Solana.
- Event pipeline is sub-second under normal operating conditions; actual
  delivery varies.

## Machine access

Umbrafeed live surfaces are `/api/v1/data/*`, `/mcp`, authenticated machine
WebSocket and signed webhook delivery, all on `https://api.umbrafeed.com` behind
API-key authentication. Freshness is tier-gated: Free sees 60-second-delayed
prices and spreads with one hour of history; Builder adds MCP, WebSocket, basic
webhooks, 30-second spread OPENs and one week of history; Pro serves immediate
rate-limited spreads with deeper history and full webhook workflows. Machine
scopes fail closed, and commercial redistribution requires separate terms.

API documentation lives at https://docs.umbrafeed.com.
