# HTX coverage

Long-established venue with deep altcoin spot and perp books

HTX, formerly Huobi, is one of the longest-running exchanges in the market and keeps a broad spot listing alongside USDT-margined perpetuals. Its user base skews differently from the Western-facing venues, so order flow on the same asset does not always arrive at the same time — which is precisely what opens a cross-venue gap. Umbra monitors HTX on both sides of the book and surfaces those differences as they appear.

- Type: centralized exchange
- Markets monitored: spot, futures
- Pairs covered: major spot and perpetual pairs
- Spread types: spot/futures, futures/futures, spot/spot

### Why it matters for spread detection

HTX order flow does not move in lockstep with Binance or Bybit, so the same asset can lag or lead by seconds. Umbra compares every monitored HTX pair against the other venues and reports the difference when it exceeds the configured threshold, without predicting whether it closes.

### What makes it different

HTX's separate user base is the point: a venue that reacts on its own schedule produces dislocations that venues sharing the same flow do not.

### Features

- Spot and USDT-margined perpetual markets
- Broad altcoin listing across mid-cap pairs
- Distinct regional order flow versus Western venues
- Long operating history and continuous market data
